Here is the complete list of every Spirit that can be Enhanced in Super Smash Bros. So which Spirits can be enhanced in particular? Well, I’ve created a list. There are no three- or four-stage Enhancements. Only Primary Spirits can be Enhanced, and they can only be Enhanced once. Sure, it’s sometimes sad to see those 98 hard-earned levels go, but trust me, it’s always worth Enhancing a Spirit. If you click yes, your Spirit will evolve into a higher-tier Spirit (Novice to Advanced, Advanced to Ace, and Ace to Legend, though sometimes the’ll go up two tiers instead of one), but they will be returned to Level 1.

Some of these spirits can only be obtained through something called “Enhancing.” When the right Spirit hits Level 99, a window pops up and asks you if you want to Enhance the Spirit.

Obviously, those who are gorging themselves on all of the single-player goodness Ultimate offers are going to want to collect every single one. You can collect more than 1,300 Spirits in the game, and each will grant your character (or an amiibo Figure Player) stat boosts and skills. Ultimate‘s Spirits are part of one of the game’s more complex systems.
